The english_tutorials_AutoCAD_MEP_2009.zip file contains two types of files
that you will use to complete the AutoCAD MEP 2009 tutorials: tutorial datasets
and tutorial documentation.

The tutorial datasets are contained in Datasets.exe. The datasets include all
of the drawings and project files used in the tutorials. These files are
set up to automatically extract to c:\My Documents\Autodesk\My Projects.

The tutorial documentation is contained in CHMs_and_PDFs.exe. The documentation
is available in Help format (CHM) and in PDF format. These files are set up 
to automatically extract to c:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2009\Help.

	Note: If you are running Windows Vista, you must be an administrator in
	order to extract the tutorial files. You will need to specify the
	following extraction locations since these are not set up automatically: 
	- c:\My Documents\Autodesk\My Projects (for tutorial datasets)
	- c:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2009\Help (for tutorial CHM and PDF files)


Follow these steps to download and extract the tutorial datasets and
documentation files to your hard drive:

1. Minimize AutoCAD MEP 2009 if it is open and close the Help if it is open. You 
will replace this CHM file with a new file that contains the complete set of 
online tutorials.

2. Download and save english_tutorials_AutoCAD_MEP_2009.zip to your hard drive.

3. From your hard drive, double-click english_tutorials_AutoCAD_MEP_2009.zip and 
click Extract to save the contents to a folder of your choice.

4. To extract the datasets from the folder you indicated in the previous step, 
open the folder and double-click Datasets.exe. Browse to the 
My Documents\Autodesk\My Projects folder, and select it. 

	Note: The location of the My Documents folder can vary. To identify its
	location on your machine, right-click My Documents on the desktop, 
	click Properties, and examine the value for Target.

5. Click Unzip.

6. Click OK in the message box, and close the dialog.

7.Open c:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2009\Help.

8. For each of the files listed below, right-click the file in the Help folder, 
select Properties, clear the Read-only attribute, and click OK. 
	-AutoCAD_MEP_ConstTutorial.chm
	-AutoCAD_MEP_ContentToolsTutorial.chm
	-AutoCAD_MEP_ElectricalTutorial.chm
	-AutoCAD_MEP_ExpressTutorial.chm
	-AutoCAD_MEP_MechanicalTutorial.chm
	-AutoCAD_MEP_PipingTutorial.chm
	-AutoCAD_MEP_PlumbingTutorial.chm

9. To extract the tutorial documentation from the folder you indicated in step 3,
open the folder and double-click CHMs_and_PDFs.exe. Browse to the 
Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2009\Help folder and select it.

10. Click Unzip.

	Note: Extracting the tutorial CHM files to this location adds the tutorials
	to the online Help system. The printable PDF version is also available at
	the same location.

11. Click OK in the message box, and close the dialog.

12. If open, you can restore AutoCAD MEP 2009.

13. To access the tutorials from AutoCAD MEP 2009, click Help menu > Tutorials.
